Join SWIMBA for a 10 mi advanced ride on the Apollo Creek Trail north of Ketchum.  This will be very much like a Lucky Ada "There will be Blood" ride but less mileage, more whining and possibly, a bit of a hike a bike so pack plenty of snacks, water, tools, a first aid kit and plenty of good attitude as there will be plenty of "WTF" moments until we hit the top of the basin and the descent starts.  Not very many people do this ride and there will be a mile of two where we have to navigate a meadow at 9,500 feet by following cairns. 

As usual, we'll have pot-luck snacks at the trailhead postride so please bring your favorite beverage(s) and something to share and a comfortable chair.

To get to the trailhead from Ketchum:

1. Drive North on Highway 75 for 15.5 miles and turn left onto Baker Creek Road. 
2. Go about 9.5 miles to the Baker Lake parking area.  The ride starts here promptly at 9:00 am.
